Surgical applications with BOWA electrosurgical systems and ultrasonic scalpel systems of BOWA MEDICAL

General and visceral surgery, as “basic surgery”, constitutes primary surgical care. Laparoscopic and open interventions with high-frequency and ultrasonic surgical systems are used in a wide range of surgical applications.

The reusable ERGO 315R, in combination with the HIGH-END HF surgical device ARC 400 or ARC 350, is a cost-effective overall package for rapid and effective vascular sealing, particularly in laparoscopic procedures.

Liver surgery

Liver surgery is considered to be one of the most demanding areas of visceral surgery.

This makes the selection of appropriate HF surgical systems all the more important. The LOTUS ultrasonic liver resector is designed specifically for use on liver parenchyma. The combination of patented torsional ultrasonic technology and unique tip geometry achieves an optimal haemostatic effect.

Alongside the LOTUS ultrasonic liver resector, the reusable ERGO 315R vessel-sealing instrument in combination with our ARC 400 surgical device and the BOWA argon probes complete the product portfolio for liver surgery.

There is also the BOWA ARC PLUS argon plasma surgery additional device for ARC 400 and ARC 350 for argon-assisted electrosurgery and the SHE SHA smoke evacuation system.

BOWA Surgically rigid argon electrodes for open surgery or laparoscopic procedures are used in liver surgery for contactless argon coagulation in the narrowest space with limited penetration depth for argon coagulation.

Bariatric surgery

BOWA HF surgery for the specialist area of visceral surgery

The BOWA LOTUS bariatric dissecting shears were designed specifically for the requirements of bariatric surgery for sealing vessels and tissue prior to dissection. The adjusted working length of the instruments, precise dissection and balanced degree of haemostasis ensure an optimum surgical result.

The patented torsional ultrasonic technology makes the LOTUS dissecting shears particularly efficient and safe in comparison with conventional ultrasonic blades.

Alongside the LOTUS ultrasonic system, the ARC 400 High-End electrosurgical device with its touchscreen and integrated instrument recognition as well as the reusable ERGO 315R sealing instrument round off our product portfolio in bariatric surgery.

Gynaecology

Gynaecological interventions with electrosurgical systems from BOWA MEDICAL.

BOWA MEDICAL offers individual solutions for hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, adnexal resections, mastectomy, endometriosis and conisation.

The MetraLOOP® COMFORT loop system, when used in combination with the MetraLOOP® current waveform that has been specially developed for this purpose in the High-End electrosurgery devices ARC 400 and ARC 350, supports the removal of the uterus in laparoscopic, supracervical hysterectomy.

MetraLOOP, MetraBagpro and ERGO 300 provide you with a complete solution for in-bag morcellation in a closed system. In addition, the LOTUS ultrasound scalpel system, ERGOact for bipolar coagulation with hand activation and ERGO 315R complete the gynaecology product portfolio.

Reusable and single-use instruments such as BIZZER bipolar scissors, TissueSeal PLUS vascular sealers and electrosurgical accessories can also be ordered online.

LOTUS dissecting shears ensure minimal lateral tissue damage in laparoscopic (partial) nephrectomy and prostatectomy.

ERGOact for bipolar coagulation with hand activation and the reusable ERGO 315R are used in ligation and coagulation.
