BOWA obtains environmental certificate

For BOWA, success also means responsibility towards both people, and the environment. Through sustainable management and the responsible use of resources, we are already thinking about the world of tomorrow.
As part of our ISO 14001 management concept, we have installed large-scale photovoltaic systems to improve our environmental performance and offer our employees job bikes and charging points for electric vehicles to further reduce CO2 – even on the way to work.
The ISO 14001:2015 certification is a confirmation for us, that we manage the resources of our environment in a responsible and sustainable way.
ISO 14001 is the globally standardised basis for contemporary environmental management systems. The standard forms the cornerstone for a sustainably improved environmental balance sheet for the company.
The goal of ISO 14001 certification, and also our endeavour, is to reduce negative environmental impacts while meeting economic, social and societal requirements.
