TISSUESEAL PLUS^® is a re-usable instrument for LIGATION in open surgery applications.

LIGATION means the permanent sealing of tissue and vascular bundles in the course of interventions, e. g. general surgery, gynaecology and urology. Here a BOWA ARC generator with LIGATION function is used.

Vessels of up to 7 mm can be sealed in this way. The sealed ends withstand pressures of up to 700 mmHg, thus meeting all safety requirements.

A special feature of TISSUESEAL PLUS^® is its sandwich structure, which gives the instruments a minimal thermal side effect of < 1 mm.
