NightKNIFE® – Seal’n Cut

NightKNIFE® is a re-usable instrument with cutting functions and is used for LIGATION in open surgery and laparoscopic applications.

LIGATION means the permanent sealing of tissue and vascular bundles in the course of interventions, e. g. general surgery, gynaecology and urology. Here a BOWA ARC generator with LIGATION function is used.

Vessels of up to 7 mm can be sealed in this way. The sealed ends can withstand pressures of up to 700 mmHg, thus meeting all safety requirements.

The integrated, replaceable blades and fully insulated tips with an extremely low thermal side effect are special features of the NightKNIFE®.
