LIGATOR® – compact sealing instrument

LIGATOR® is a re-usable instrument for LIGATION in open surgery and laparoscopic applications.

LIGATION means the permanent closing of tissue and vascular bundles in the course of interventions, e. g. general surgery, gynaecology and urology. Here a BOWA ARC generator with LIGATION function is used.

Vessels of up to 7 mm can be sealed in this way. The sealed ends can withstand pressures of up to 700 mmHg, thus meeting all safety requirements.

The LIGATOR's special features include a wide variety of tips and an anti-adhesion coating.
